Tom Iwanow



Tom's career began as a business consultant for Fortune 500 energy companies. He quickly established a reputation for developing creative solutions to address his clients' needs, and ultimately joined the Commercial Contracts group at one of the largest consolidated energy companies in the U.S.


During a four-year period of intense M&A activity, Tom began providing asset valuations and pre- and post-purchase analysis of highly customized contracts by combining GIS mapping and historical and predictive analytics. The resulting $3 billion portfolio of acquisitions included real property, as well as corporate assets.


That role evolved from directing a staff of 26 commercial contract specialists to facilitating the contract negotiation process, successfully challenging valuations, and salvaging failed negotiations by finding ways to increase margin for both sides. When he left, Tom was contributing $65 million in additional revenue annually.


Tom leveraged that knowledge and expertise to become CFO and Managing Partner of a startup that has grown into the largest adidas team sports dealer, by sales volume, in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex during his tenure.


Tom brings his single-minded client focus and entrepreneurial spirit to McAllister and Associates, along with deep contract negotiation and analysis experience and the resolve that comes from managing large-scale asset valuation and integration projects.


Tom is a graduate of the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. He is passionate about music and the Texas Hill Country.
